He has 10+ years shipping full-stack web applications and shaping technical product direction across early-stage and scaling companies. He started JobAim after living through the modern job search himself — and concluding that job seekers deserved a tool built on their side.</p>

<p>At Brizen, we are guided by one of our core values, "Practice what you preach". We constantly remind ourselves that in order to build products for our customers that help them remain calm and focused and make high quality decisions, we need to do so ourselves too. </p><h3>Doing with intention</h3><p>With generative AI, doing is easier and faster than ever before, and it is tempting to just sit down in front of the computer, crank up Claude (or whatever AI tool to our liking), watch the wall of generated code, close out 10+ tasks in a day, and feel accomplished afterwards ... it rarely goes that way here. </p><p></p><p>We know that a fast car heading in the wrong direction doesn't land the car in the right destination, and that is why we are very intentional about what we build, how we build it, and whom we build for. We might be spending less time spelling out every keyword in our preferred programming language, or fixing CSS absurdities (which might be the biggest contributions AI made to humanity, cue "family guy CSS meme"), but that frees up to spend more time thinking about business models, software architecture, scalability and security from day one. </p><h3>Cohabiting with chaos</h3><p>Sometimes chaos does seem inevitable and make us feel debilitated to move forward because of the overwhelming tasks and uncertainties, and sometimes it feels almost natural to go into autopilot: click "Enter" to accept AI recommendations without validating the output, jump on the next fun idea without thinking through its implications, opting for a quick and dirty infra setup just to close out a sprint ... we've all been there, but over time we've built the resilience and the system to catch ourselves before that happens, and re-evaluate what the sensible next step should be. </p><p>As a young startup in a fast moving industry with lots of unknowns, opportunities, and challenges. It is important that we treat chaos as a messy roommate: messy (exactly that), chaotic, but inevitable at our stage. And instead of been taken over by it, we stay true to our core principles: customer-focused, aligning our business outcome with customer success, value operational excellence, and build sustainability in everything we do. The guiding principles and our values keep us grounded, like a harbor where we can always anchor in the storm.</p><h3>So what does a day actually look like?</h3><p>I personally usually start with a hot caffeinated beverage. We spend our early mornings reviewing the work in progress, double verifying that what we build (and how we build) is aligned with our principles. Going from there, we prioritize what should happen next. Our team is encouraged to stay focused, and avoid the temptation of multitasking. We love whiteboarding and being analog (good old pen &amp; paper), and we have yet to find a good collaborative diagramming tool (open to suggestions!). By end of the day, we go out for a walk (weather permits) and each team member sends a picture of what they see in their surroundings in a "fun" channel, it is an accountability measure but also a way to get everyone to be present. </p><p></p>
